Our story

My ears have been ringing for seven years. It's a high pitch, and I can hear it over almost everything. 

But I noticed that in some environments like the shower, the ringing was less noticeable. Turns out this is the essence of sound masking.

One thing led to another, and I realized that the sound machine I had been using for sleep was not all it could be. 

Nocturne is designed to be the best sound machine for sleep and focus. We put our energy into sound masking and not needing a phone app. We said “no” to many features in order to be the best at what matters most.

You probably aren’t getting enough rest. We aren’t either. It’s hard! But we should try, because every sleep improvement will pay dividends in energy.

Why are we asking for your email?

We are launching soon on Kickstarter, and need to have a big first day. It's how most successful campaigns do it. A strong start gets noticed!

I worked at Apple for the last nine years, bringing new products into production every year. For Nocturne we have already started tooling for manufacturing; in short we are pretty far along, with the biggest risks behind us.
