Frequently asked questions
- Nocturne comes with five sounds: pink noise, stream, ocean surf, rain, and evening forest.
- Each sound can be adjusted with the equalizer, giving you enormous range with just a few sounds.
- With the equalizer you can actually create any color of noise!
- Pink noise is our default setting because it is the “flattest” noise in terms of how it sounds; every octave has equal energy. This gives you a clean slate from which to start making adjustments.
- White noise is flattest in terms of energy per frequency, but sounds higher pitched to the human ear.
- There is a wall mount plate on the back of Nocturne, and two screws included to attach that plate to the wall.
- Alternatively, Nocturne is light enough to be supported with double-sided tape. Just make sure that the tape you use can hold 1.5lbs.
